Why location is requested
To stop people from joining a queue remotely, QueueBuzz can ask customers to share their location when they join. Their position is checked against your business address to confirm they're actually nearby.
What customers see
When location is required, customers get a prompt asking to share their location before they can join. If their device can't get an accurate fix (weak GPS signal, permission denied), they'll see troubleshooting tips to retry or enable location services.
If a customer is denied
A customer who's genuinely on-site but flagged as too far away (e.g. a large venue, weak signal) can retry — location accuracy is shown as they refresh. This is a host-configurable setting, so if it's causing issues for legitimate customers, you can turn location verification off from your queue settings.
